For those that are unable to attend the funeral it is Jewish Tradition to have a S h i v v a h House which are times to meet with the family that has lost a loved one.

Honor Nomination Fees in 2012

As per Article 9, Section 209.1 Sub Section (c)

“Regalia Fee. The Grand Secretary shall annually establish the fee for the Active and Honorary Legion of Honor, Cross of Honor, and Degree of Chevalier. The regalia fee shall not include the cost of a ring. The fee must accompany all nominations. (2001) (2005)”

Honor 2010 Fee 2011 Fee

Active Legion of Honor $50.00 $75.00

Honorary Legion of Honor $50.00 $75.00

Cross of Honor $40.00 $50.00

Chevalier $35.00 $45.00

These increased fees were presented by the Grand Secretary to the Board of Directors on Saturday, August 6th, 2011. The Board of Directors endorsed the fees.

The increased fees take effective immediately. All nominations submitted with the old fees will be returned to the Jurisdiction.

The Phantom Menace…

Hey all you ID lovers out there!

Most of you may not know who I am, so let me throw out a brief introduction. My name is “Dad” Dave Willis, and I’ll be your happy guide through this, the beautiful new world of the Illinois DeMolay website. Enough with the introductions… on to the nitty gritty…

As you have noticed by now, Illinois DeMolay’s website is experiencing quite a transformation. Now this will be an ongoing process for quite some time, but worry not, you can find all of the ins and outs of what’s changing on this updates page. The State Website Committee has quite a few things planned for this new site, and we’re looking forward to getting feedback from you all!

So why the phantom menace? Well, for one thing, it’s my slightly sad attempt to make a Star Wars reference in honor of Nathan’s term theme. It specifically alludes, however, to the fact that we are also moving hosts! As you can see the move has gone quite smoothly, and we are looking forward to the new options that the new host will be providing.
