 DeMolay Leadership Correspondence Course

Administrator’s Guide

The DeMolay L.C.C. program is designed to generate interest and knowledge about the traditions and Chapter operations of DeMolay International.  The five courses cover the following:

  • Basic DeMolay Knowledge (requires DeMolay Leaders Resource Guide)
  • DeMolay Administration (requires DeMolay Leaders Resource Guide)
  • DeMolay History and Heritage (requires DeMolay Leaders Resource Guide and Hi Dad)
  • Advance DeMolay Knowledge (requires DeMolay Leaders Resource Guide)
  • DeMolay Administration II (requires DeMolay Leaders Resource Guide)

Each course is open book and there is no time limit to complete.  You should plan a participant to take approximately 1¼ to 1½ hours to complete a Lesson.

Here are some basic Chapter guidelines to assure the L.C.C. remains a learning experience:

  • Participants may work in teams but the teams must involve all the members to find and share the answer they find.  If working in a team, questions/answers should be reviewed after all participants have finished.
  • A lesson should be administered by a DeMolay or Sweetheart who has successfully passed the lesson being taken.
  • New members, sweethearts and advisors should take L.C.C. Lesson One within 6 months of joining.
  • Members may take the L.C.C. questions and answer sheet home to work on the Lesson but a member may not start work on the next lesson until they successfully complete the current one.

The $7.00 course fee must be received prior to starting lesson 2.
